It's been a while since I last updated! So here's a quick update!

I've just had my physics gem CA last friday. I spent the past 3 days working on my applied microb report. I've got a billion and one things to do.. Decide if I wanna do honours, get another degree after graduation, Med school after grad, grad school after grad or start work.. And if I'm going to do honours, I'll need to get a prof soon..

Chinese New Year's just less than a week away. BUT I'm not in the mood for it! Which is like finding a diamond in a haystack! Rare! I've always looked forward to CNY! The items on my to-do list is spoiling my mood for CNY. Not to mention I have 2 tests after the CNY week.. Studying, career searching, FYP searching.. *moans*

Chatted with Sam on Sat. =) It's been a while since I chatted with her! She's such a dearie; advising me, giving me tips even though she's busy.. =) That's what friends are for! hehe. Thank you honey!!!!!

Hmmm. I've yet to receive Geri's surprise book for me! I'm really looking forward to receiving the book; hopefully I'll have time to read it!

It has been a week since school started!! So far, I've already had Applied Microbio lecture & lab (gawd! It's only the first week and there's labwork already!! Not to mention, it was a very long one, in a way, I did OT! haha), 2 Physical Qn from everyday lectures, 2 Infectious lectures, Global environment lecture, Mol Basis of Genetic Diseases lecture..

But I've spent the rest of my week dl-ing songs from Nokia Comes with Music, editing the Chinese song names (coz I HATE their literal Chinese to English translated names & hanyu pinyin!)

Suiku & suikim came over on Friday night to pick Crystal! The dog clothes they bought were too small!! They bought size 10, Yuki wears size 14! Di Sheng & I walked over to Duoyi's place with the blue fences, Crystal was being chased after by Oreo & barked at by Tinker! Poor thing! Tinker got a cut on her paw & we thought Crystal was bleeding coz Tinker's blood stained Crystal's coat..

Tanglin Halt's hawker centre is finally open!! After one long year of waiting, I managed to eat my Chicken Chop!! Whoo hoo!! =) But it was after queueing for 1 hour & a near miss coz the uncle was overworked & nearly fainted. Luckily his wife took over.. Phew.

Woke up bright & early at 830am (although I slept at 4am..) to go Tiong Bahru Market for Lor mee! THen we headed to SGH to visit Xiao gu zhang. Bought Yuki's food, treats, vitamins, shampoo at Anchor Point's Pet Lovers. We spent over $200!! =O After getting drinks & buying stuff from Ikea, we headed home.

Mummy & I went Jurong East to shop at Esther jiejie's shop. I bought a vest & shorts while mummy bought 2 dresses & 3 tops & 1 skirt? (kinda lost count)

After bathing & eating lunch (at 5pm), I crashed. Slept all the way till 8pm, had dinner, watched Ch 8's telemovie about bodyguards. Zoe Tay!! =)

As I'm blogging, I'm ripping songs from my CDs coz the songs I dl from Nokia's CMW can't be used as ringtones!! Tsk so irritating & frustrating!! GRRR. Kanna cheated liao. =S

Bathed at 10+, decided on my polka dotted dress, straightened my hair (with Wei Wei's assistance!), had abit of lunch, make-up, chose shoes, chose purse, chose earrings.

En route to Bukit Merah to pick Wunly, we picked up Er yi, alighted Er yi & aunty at TH. Then it was off to The Lawn, Raffles Hotel for Yik Siong & Linli's garden wedding party! Hmmm it was quite awkward! Coz we didn't know anyone there, so it was just Weilin, Wunly & me! And it was very hot! Linli looked really princess-y!! (^^) It was quite an experience! Being at such a wedding with so many classy 上流社会 ppl.

We left around 5pm coz Weilin had to leave for her church service. Wunly came with me to ah gong's place where we played mj!! =) Or rather we taught Wunly how to play mj! Our original plan was to meet Weilin at Marina Square Kbox to sing, but we were pretty shagged so we postponed our kbox session..

Waa. Global environmental issues's damn ex!! The winning bid was 893!! My most expensive module of all time!! =S Ihave ~200+ points in my General account now.. =S

Went to Jurong point to exchange my Nokia X6 coz the battery cover doesn't fit snugly. Bought Liese bubble colour (Dark CHocolate) at Watsons! Went back home, had lunch, then got Aunty & WEi wei to dye my hair!! It was a painful experience!! Coz my hair was being pulled, tugged from place to place that I ended up with lots of knots & tangled hair!!

After trying out the 2nd set of Nokia X6, I realised that the camera wasn't working properly, so I decided to go Jurong POint to exchange the phone again. Since there was only half an hour to closing time 9pm, I took a cab! ARgh. The queue was really long! My number was S1205 but they were only serving S1178. So I walked around (in my Crescent tee & pink fbts! lol) My turn finally came at 930pm!

The 3rd set of Nokia X6 also had a faulty camera.. Sigh. So I decided to take back the very 1st set of Nokia X6 but with a better battery cover that fits well. Mummy came to fetch me! =) Awww..

Came home to find Crystal in the fenced area. lol. Yuki kept disturbing Crystal! The naughty girl!! Poor Crystal..

Yay! I've finally got my new phone!! Nokia X6! =) After our (mummy, Wei & me) clothes-hunting at Jurong East, we (papa tagged along!) went to Jurong Point's Singtel shop to get my phone!!

Woke up late!! I wanted to wake up at 9 but I woke up at 1030! Received Wei's sms that she can go kbox with me! =) Sealed 2 bags before leaving the house at 1pm to meet Wei at Marina Square's Kbox at 2pm..

Wei was late! So I walked around before meeting her at 230.. Yay!! Kbox time!! Haha it's been sooo long before I sang! Argh. Gotta admit, I sound horrible!! sigh. And my stamina is lacking!!

Had dinner at Orchard Hotel Subway (again). haha I had Subway last week too.. I went to class alone again!! Coz Wunly's still not feeling well.. Sigh. Met a classmate at City Hall, so we chatted the journey back home. =)

Saturday:
Read Gakuen Alice chapters 104-124! Took MRT with Di Sheng to ah gong's house..

Sunday:
Started on "Kimi ni todoke" till chapter 34. Uncle Michael invited to his place to celebrate Dexter's birthday, the adults played mj while we watched dvds.. Had curry & beehoon for lunch, dinner was steamboat! haha but when I wanted to eat my dinner, the rice wasn't cooked yet! And the rice wasn't enough for everyone, so we borrowed rice from the neighbour (who was also invited over for dinner & the borrowed rice was cooked for them!! paiseh man..) Papa, wei wei & I walked over to Limbang to buy a small birthday cake for Dexter! =)

Monday:
Finished "Kimi ni todoke" up to the latest chapter 42. Read the latest few chapters of "Kyou, koi wo hajimemasu". Groomed Yuki & bathed her together with Di Sheng & Wei wei, we took about 2 hours!! haha Yuki's looking sooooo cute now!! =) Still in the midst of settling my modules for next sem.. Sigh. A major headache.

Thursday:
Wrote my reflections on 2009 & 2010 New Year resolutions! Read Gakuen Alice Chapters 71-73. Went M'sia Jusco to shop. Managed to get a dark blue jacket.. Reached home around 10+, showered, drank sparkling juice with Ruffles Chips..

Watched Ch 8's countdown program! Happy New Year!! =) Read Gakuen Alice 74-75 before hitting the sack..

Friday:
It's 2010!! Waa. The start of another year! May 2010 be a prosperous, healthy, blessed, harmonious, lucky year for us!!!!!

Read Gakuen Alice 76-103!! (the whole day till now - 3am) In between, we went IMM to check out Starhub's iPhone plans coz Di Sheng wants to get one. But he didn't managed to get the iPhone today coz of his M1 plan la blah blah.. Complicated.

Tuesday:
More CORS module searching, checking for exam clashes, timetable clashes, assessment breakdown. Sigh. So not fun. It's no longer searching for mods that are of interest but rather searching for mods that fit my core mods timetable & exam schedule. DAMN SIAN.

Went out at 430pm to PS coz I'm meeting Huimin at 530 to pass her her belated bday present. =P I reached pretty early (515pm) so I went to Spotlight to look for earring studs coz I want to convert several cute pins (that I've uncovered during my packing) to earrings!! =) Managed to find something that's close to what I had in mind, hopefully it'll work! Chatted with Huimin as we walked from PS to 313 (haha I didn't even know there was a new shopping centre called 313! suaku ne!)

After bading Huimin bon voyage, I walked over to Wheelock Place's Mark & Spencer to get biscuits, Butter mintoes, fruit gums for mummy~ Waaa. I spent $47.20!! gulps. But since mummy wants them, I'll buy them! =)

Headed over to Orchard Hotel's Subway for dinner.. We have 3 new classmates in japanese class. One of them's quite erm weird, coz she'll just burst out laughing loudly (not sporadically la) but her laughter's really loud.. =S

Wednesday:
Bidded for infectious, applied microbio & neurobio in the morn.. But I haven't really confirm if I'm taking these mods.. Take it slowly first ba, there's still time to bid..

Read Gakuen Alice Ch27 till Ch70.. Crap. It's 2.43am (31 Dec) now!! The last day of year 2009!! But I've yet to write my reflections and new year's resolution!! And we're driving up to M'sia to shop in the afternoon.. Hopefully I get to write it later in the morning!!

Saturday:
Read Gakuen Alice, I'm at Vol 5 now! =) Went down to TH with mummy, Di Sheng, Wei Wei, Jerald & Aunty, 二姨 & her daughter. Left to pick 四姨 from 大姨's shop before heading to People's Park.

Snacked on Kueh tu tu, Korean BBQ cuttlefish, Westlake's 扣肉包. =P Bought a grey stripped blouse from OG ($39) & a white polka dotted long sleeved top ($10) from People's Park complex.

Wei Wei came over to play mahjong.. But she was so slow, we only played 2 rounds of 东 (lasted about 6 hours! we ended around 5+)..

Sunday:
Woke up 11+, had breakfast, bathed Yuki, continued our mj session.. =P Played for 2 more 东 before heading to Hong Kah market for dinner around 4pm. Shopped at the pasam malam, bought croc-like slip ons & a pair of black pants..

Bathed. Mahjong again!! Break at 9+ for maggi mee supper.. hee. Finally finished around 11pm. Watched my recorded Ch U's 向日葵的约定 till 12+.. Bedtime! ZzzzZzz

Monday:
Read New Trials Chap 64!! hehe. Couldn't resist reading the chapter even though I was supposed to look through my CORS mods.. Got down to looking through my mods after lunch.. Up till now, I'm still deciding what mods to take. Sigh. Dunno what to take!! =S

25th Dec:
Merry Christmas!! Ho Ho Ho!!

What a busy morning! I PVC-wrapped one of my bags (with the plastic bag sealer we bought from HK), wrapped 3 presents for mummy, bathed, ate bubble gum grapes around 11+ (my breakfast).. Left for Duo gu's place! Wei Wei was punished by 四姨 to go there herself coz she was rude to her..

Had curry, beehoon, ham sandwich, cocktail sausages, quail eggs for lunch.. haha. Bloated! Helped 四姨 with her passport photo, didn't really know how to operate the Mac though.. Quite irritating! lol. Played Wii Tennis for a while before playing mj! oops. I lost ~$60, was super stressed playing coz the adults don't divide the winnings/losings by 4 (I always play divide by 4).. After playing a round, mummy took over & I went to read Gakuen Alice on Duogu's Mac.

Watched 想握你的手, had fried rice, curry, Swedish meatballs, ham sandwich for dinner.. Bloated again!! Watched 城人新杂质 for a while before playing mj again.. This time I was playing for Suikim coz she had to leave.. In the end, I lost $10 of the $14 Suikim had won.. Oops. haha Guess today's not my day & my skills aren't on par with the adults yet!! 加油！

Left Duogu's place around 1030pm, Jerald came over to 四姨's house for stayover.. Went to bed around 12am after watching my recorded 当我们同在一起 (I was still playing mj at that time)..

More packing! Lunch was Nasi Lemak! Yum yum! Went IMM with mummy, 四姨 and Wei Wei. Bought a purple hair clip (my previous one broke during my shenzhen trip) & a white kimono top.

Bedside table drawers la.. Bags la.. Washed 10+ bags! Luckily I had Aunty to help me rinse the soap-ed bags, if not I'd have taken twice as long to wash the bags.. And my back hurts!! Damn tiring!! Since I started washing the bags around 10pm, I finished around 11pm? After bathing, we snacked abit on chips & Choya.

Tricia came over in the morning coz we arrange to have a Skype convo with Geri at 10am! But I had some trouble with the wireless connection (turned out I copied the security PIN wrongly.. grr) I felt weird having the Skype convo, maybe coz it's my first time so I wasn't really used to it.. We chatted for close to 1.5 hours!

Then we surfed the net for a while, Tricia had her fried rice for lunch (she loves my aunty's fried rice! I sometimes wonder if that's the reason why she doesn't mind travelling all the way to my place.. haha.) After Tricia left, I had lunch, surfed the net.. Then Wunly came over to get the things she asked me to buy for her from HK.. We just chatted in my room, she showed me some songs/artistes that she likes..

Accounting!! Tidied my receipts from the past few years. Calculated how much I spent on singing, dancing, Japanese & driving lessons! Gulps. Quite an amount! Used Excel to plot my expenditure for 2008 and 2009.. TOok the entire day!!

Saturday:
More packing!! Helped mummy to do her hair coz she had a wedding dinner to attend.. Went over to SUiku's house coz the adults were playing mj. I brought my laptop over to read Gakuen Alice!! hehe. Managed to finish Vol 1 & 2.. =) We were at Suiku's place till 9+am! omg. I was so sleepy that I was nodding off in front of my laptop!! lol. Bathed & slept immediately after we came home.. ZZzzz

Woke up around 1+, had lunch around 3. Cleared more barang barang from my room. Got ready for Zhiling's 21st! Met Esther, Weilin, ryl, Steph at SMU's Mr Bean before heading to Treehouse club..

Decided not to take up UROPS coz I really want to have a break from school & Dr Chew's very demanding!! Literature review presentation, progress updates etc etc Nabha's lab's much more relax la! Not to mention the dozens of literature papers I was asked to read.. =S

Left for school at 8am coz I had a meeting with Dr CHew to discuss UROPS options at 915am. Started following Grace (research assistant) in the lab.. Met up with Jiang Nan (PhD student) who told me more about the project. Left around 130pm. Headed home, bathed, took a nap, met Tricia at Kino at 530pm. Bought Tsubasa review 2. Walked over to Far East plaza where Tricia managed to find a present for Alicia! Bought Subway at Lido, but there were no seats, so we walked over to Orchard Hotel to eat our Subway dinner!! Tricia accompanied me to Bunka to pay my lesson fees and chatted with Huimin for a while before class started..

Designed Ah xian jie jie's eyewear shop's opening ceremony card. Went to Kallang Leisure Park for her shop opening. Wei Wei accidentally spilled her drink on the floor, then DI Sheng was really mean to her, and WEi Wei took off on her own! She took mrt back herself, nv even inform us. I thought she went missing la. idiot girl. Luckily 四姨 called to inform us..

3rd Dec:
Woke at 830am, bathed, did some last minute packing before saying goodbye to Yuki & Aunty Latha. Wei Wei came over at 950am when the mini bus was waiting downstairs. Headed to CCK to fetch Uncle Michael then headed to the Airport!

Our flight was originally scheduled at 1220pm, but when we checked the departure board, it stated 1355!! haha so we managed to eat Popeye's Chicken at T3! =) Prior to boarding the plane, we had free Osim/Oto massage! haha.

Took the window seat beside Wei Wei.. It's been a while since I took an airplane, so I wasn't feeling comfortable.. =S Read 8days, I-weekly while drifting in & out of sleep.. Kids had priority for food, so by the time the air stewardess came back to us, they ran out of fish & rice, so I had to content with chicken & noodles which tasted not that bad! Tried to sleep after the meal.. Finally, touchdown!! At 6...

The air was cold! Brr! Changed some RMB at the airport BUT the exchange rate was 4.77 which was worse than SIngapore's 4.92 AND we had to pay RMB60 as taxes!! So it was RMB417 in exchange for SGD100. Mummy lor! Mistook Uncle David's advice of exchanging at Airport as ShenZhen airport.. While exchanging our money, we were approached by this guy to take his cab & we bargained till RMB150 for those mini vans that could fit all 6 of us.. Phew. Reached Holiday Inn & met up with Uncle David who brought Uncle Michael, Wei Wei & me to our room 2214 & dumped our luggage there.. Then we headed over to Uncle David's apartment where Mummy, Papa & Di Sheng dumped their luggage..

Dinner was at a restaurant near to our hotel.. Less than 5 minutes walk. We had cold dishes, fish, pork ribs, vegetables, duck, toufu with prawn.. Quite yummy la. Afterwhich, we walked to this massage palour 御源宫 & had foot massage (RMB36 each). It was quite an experience!! THere was this jelly-like thingy that we soaked our feet into.. We returned to the hotel around 1230am; brushed teeth, washed face, went to bed!

ARgh. Dreamland was not a pleasant affair. I went to bed at 1238am, got woken up at 338am, which basically marked the end of my sleep.. =S THanks to: 1. Wei Wei tossing & turning in bed like she was in some martial arts film 2. Lights (I'm immune to lights before sleeping. but after I'm asleep, I'm no longer immune!! Coz I always fall asleep while studying & I'll automatically wake up if lights are still on!!) 3. Uncle Michael's disturbing snoring! GOsh. I couldn't sleep after that! Not to mention, lying down in trepidation due to Wei Wei's unannounced sleep movements. Tried to use Uncle Michael's laptop internet, but there was some connection problem.. So I went back to lying on the bed, hoping sleep will come find me again! haha.

4th Dec:
THen at 624am, I got up again to take some photos of the sunrise & try the internet (but to no avail). Went to the loo to defaecate. When I came out, Uncle Michael was awake & planning to go out for a walk! Which meant I could try to sleep!! And I did manage to sleep from 7am till around 815am, just when Uncle Michael got ready to go out for his walk.. Took a shower & freshen up before waking Wei Wei..

Mummy, papa & Di Sheng came up to pass me a bag, then we trooped to the Macs opposite our hotel. Sausage Egg McMuffin meal cost RMB19.50. After breakfast, we headed to the streets behind our hotel as Uncle Michael & papa wanted to wash their hair at the salon (at Uncle David's recommendation) While the 4 of us wandered around, before heading to the salon to observe the washing.. ZzzZZ. I just stoned there. Was feeling irky & irritated coz my feet were tired already! =S

Met Uncle David to go for our Dim Sum brunch, was super full after that. Took a cab to Dong Men for our shopping spree! Bought quite a lot of barang barang & involved alot of bargaining; stockings (from 50 for 2 pairs to 35), watch(from 30 to 20), dangling earrings(from 15 to 12.50), fancy scotch tape (6, cannot bargain),giraffe jumper (49, cannot bargain), 3 long sleeved tops (50, cannot bargain), X'mas tree & snowman earrings (from 50 for 2 to 40). Then I tried to find the building where Geri, Tricia & I went before; the one that sold lots of shoes in the basement level.. After walking & searching, we managed to find the building!! (it was just next to the first building we left, so we wasted alot of time)

Bought 3 pairs of shoes! From RMB40 to 35, 39 to 30. ARgh. I hate bargaining! I suck at them & I feel damn paiseh de! There was this lady who followed us while we shopped coz she wanted to jio us to her manicure shop. So after following us for around 1hour plus, we went to her shop to get our nails done! Mummy, Papa, Di Sheng had the basic manicure/pedicure (RMB10), Uncle Michael had some pedicure & massage (RMB20), Wei Wei had some Wax treatment (RMB40) and I had acrylic nails (RMB150).

Okay the price breakdown is this: RMB80 for acrylic nails, then RMB10 per nail for acrylic design, RMB2 per crystal. I've nv done acrylic nail art before & Audrey had her nails done at ~SGD100++, so it was still a steal! SO I decided to go for all 10nails, BUT I bargained (with help from Wei Wei), 10 acrylic designs (rose) & 10 small crystals for RMB70! As I did the nails, the lady added 5 more big crystals (saying she'll charge me RMB1 per crystal), luckily she decided to 'uncharge' the RMB5 so my manicure cost RMB150 in total! I saved RMB60! However! The lighting they used to dry the nails was UV lighting!! O_O Cham. I'm gonna have hand cancer!! =(

After my manicure (I was the last one to finish since it took approx 1hour), we cabbed to 嘉年华会 for bath & dinner! Mummy, Papa & Di Sheng took the first cab, & they're damn heng coz we took 20minutes to get a cab!

Mummy & I did the body scrub while Wei Wei showered & waited patiently for us (1hour plus).. It was embarassing!! Being naked & being scrubed almost all over.. Haha but I'm glad to get rid of my accumulated dead skin cells! Dinner was already served but the guys didn't start eating coz they were waiting (albeit impatiently) for us.. After dinner, the adults wanted to do foot/shoulder massage, so we went along. BUT the kids (that's me inclusive) didn't get any massage. What we did get was lots of cigarette smoke in our lungs.. It was very uncomfortable, to the point where my voice was all husky & rough.. Tak boleh tahan lah! Adding to the misery was my lack of sleep & bad temper, so I just threw a fit. Oops. Not a nice thing to do to the host, Uncle David. =S Nonetheless, we left soon after..

Walked over to Uncle David's apartment to get Clarinase (I wanted some sedative meds, but papa didn't have any). All 6 of us trooped to our hotel room coz everyone (except me) wanted to go for foot reflexology. But they decided not to after I asked papa to help look at Uncle Michael's laptop internet connection problem, which he managed to solve!! So I managed to get a headstart in blogging about the holiday! =)

5th Dec:
Woke at 815am, showered, while zipping my jeans, one of my rose designs came off!! =S Called mummy to check if Uncle David has super glue & got her to bring along the 3 pairs of new shoes I bought yesterday. Uncle Michael & papa went to Macs to get our breakfast, while mummy, Di Sheng, Wei Wei & I went to 7-11 to check if there's super glue (luckily there was!).

Applying super glue was another suay experience coz I placed my finger on my jeans (to keep it steady for Di Sheng to apply the glue) but the super glue flowed out!! So I had a patch of super glue on my jeans & under my fingernail! Argh. Hurried to the toilet to wash the glue off, but it had already seeped through! Had some jeans fabric stuck to my skin.. But at least my rose design was back to its original place! =)

Rushed down to the lobby to meet up with papa & Uncle Michael, cabbed to Shekou & took a ferry to Macau. Gobbled down my Sausage Egg McMuffin & half a hashbrown coz I wanted to resume scrapping super glue off my fingers.. Wei Wei helped lots in scrapping off the super glue~ Played Bingo while onboard the ferry.. I won 9 out of 10 games!! whee~

Reached Macau around 1pm, took the shuttle bus to The Venetian 7. Lunch consisted of 4 dishes, 2 bowls of rice & 2 soft drinks (MOP$78) then we tried to find the amusement park but it had been temporarily shut down, so Mummy, Uncle Michael & I went to check out the Casino while Papa looked after the kids outside..

It was very smokey.. inside the casino. =S And the minimum bets were ex! MOP$300 for Baccarat, MOP$200 for Blackjack, MOP$100 for Roulette..O_O Uncle Michael went off to exchange money to gamble, so mummy & I went back to look for papa & kids. PLayed Daidi with them while papa & mummy went back to the Casino..

After everyone came back, we took a shuttle bus to Sands, then took a public bus 10B to ____, where mummy got her Portuguese egg tarts, almond biscuits etc.. Had dinner at this alley shop selling noodles (Maggi noodles), Wei Wei said that it was the best meal she had so far this trip.. -_-'''

Took bus 3A to Sands, we wanted to take the shuttle bus from Sands to the Macau Ferry Terminal but children weren't allowed on the bus. So we had to take the Shuttle Bus from Sands to the Venetian, then transfer to another shuttle at The Venetian to the Macau Ferry Terminal. While at The Venetian, mummy suggested looking for the Gondola so as to take photos "evidence that we've been to Venice".. lol.

Slept during the hour journey from Macau to Shen Zhen. Cabbed to 御源宫 where we had foot massage; the lady masseur thought I was a 高中生 & that we were from HK! haha we look like alot of different nationalities; yesterday someone thought we were from Canada, then the body scrub lady thought I was a native Chinese.. And the last trip with Geri & Tricia, someone thought we were from Japan! Guess Singaporeans don't really have a distinct identity?

Fell asleep on the couch after the massage was done, Uncle David kindly offered to bring Wei Wei & me back to the hotel so we could rest since Mummy & Uncle Michael would take quite a while more.. Shared cup noodles with Wei Wei while typing this out.. =)

6th Dec:
Woke around 820am, bathed, packed luggage for HK. Wanted to have dimsum for breakfast but the restaurant was crowded, so we settled for 茶餐厅. I had sausage & egg noodles with Yin Yang tea. After breakfast, we checked out of the hotel, brought our luggage over to Uncle David's apartment, washed our hair at the salon opposite Uncle David's apartment. At approx 1pm, we collected our bags & cabbed to ___ where we took a coach to HK. I almost got separated from everyone coz I alighted from the bus at the wrong stop, luckily I went to the front to check if the rest alighted. Heng ah!

Upon reaching HK, Uncle David showed us around (Eaton Hotel, Nathan hotel, coach pick-up point), then we proceeded to check into our Dorsett Seaview hotel. The room's pretty small but nicely furnished. We waited at Langham Place, while Uncle David & mummy went to withdraw money from MTR ATM. Had a super late lunch (fish chip kuay tiao) around 4+ at this 茶餐厅, food was not tasty..

Shopping at 女人街 was a bad experience. Some stall owners' attitudes were really awful. Since mummy loves to bargain (her plan was to slash 80% off the given price), we had a few encounters with owners telling us to go away.. =S I bought a white blouse, girl T-shirt, Winnie the Pooh bag, Yuki's clothes (bumble bee, pink snoopy) & scrub. Had a tough time getting the pink snoopy coz both stall owners were pretty fierce & intimidating. I have a theory that it is easier to bargain if you converse in English & pretend you don't know Chinese and Cantonese..

The stall owners of the roadside stall where we had fishball soup pissed me off, they gave us the top-to-bottom appraisal, macam looking down on us.. GRR. As**oles! After more shopping at 女人街 and on our way back to the hotel, we had MacDonal's Cheesy Sausage & Egg Macaroni, which was hmm-mmm mouthwatering!! A kind-hearted lady guided us back to our hotel (think she was headed the same direction too). Shopped at Temple Street (just behind our hotel) and bought hair accesories (hat & hat hairband), Japanes doll figurine umbrella.

7th Dec:
Same morning routine. Rainy day! Went to Yau Ma Tei MTR station to purchase Octopus cards. My mummy & papa super suaku! THey stood at the barrier tapping & tapping their cards, thinking that the doors will open, they had to reset the card at the customer service counter.. Visited the temple at Wong Da Sui MTR station, some ppl lighted their incense until the incense was burning..

On the way to Tung Chung station, we alighted at Mongkok to buy Beard papa for our lunch. Bus 23's journey was approx 40minutes (fell asleep halfway). Spent about 30minutes climbing up the hill, taking photos & going back down. Mummy visited the Po Lin Monastary whle the rest of us took photos outside.

Went back to Temple Street for Claypot rice dinner, by the time of which everyone was starving already! Ordered congee & fried noodles to fill our tummies while waiting for the claypot rice to arrive. The Hoy family left for Avenue of Stars but the Fong family didn't go coz Uncle Michael's leg was in pain (due to gout; he forgot to bring his medicine) The MTR map we had was outdated, so we made a roundabout journey to East Tsim Sa Tsui. =S Symphony of Lights was below expectations, I expected something like our Musical Fountains. Bought potato chips & cup noodles from a supermarket. Mummy wanted to find the Star Ferry but we were too tired/not keen to find it, so we used the subway & walked to Tsim Sa Tsui. Had MacDonald's Macaroni again. Took MTR back to Yau Ma Tei to drop our shoppings at the hotel, before heading to back to Tsim Sa Tsui 女人街 with Wei Wei to do more shopping!!

Bought 4 hair clips ($10 each, original price waw $40)! necktie necklace ($80, bargained from $120). Met Uncle Michael! So 巧 hor! Went back to hotel shortly as stalls were packing due to the light rain.

8th Dec:
Ocean Park day! A kind hearted lady passed us some discount coupon for the entry tickets, luckily the counter staff allowed us to use the coupons (they were expired I think) so we had a 10% discount!! Took the cable car to the Highlands, took Raging River, Mine Train, Viking & Ferris wheel. THe mine train was exciting & shiok but I didn't scream at all! Coz my throat was sore, so I had to do a "screamless sream". It's not as shiok when you can scream at the top of your lungs.. Lunch was MacDonald's.

Took lots of photos of marine creatures at Atoll Reef; I was the last to exit. Caught the 330pm animal show at the Ocean Theatre! Dolphins & sea lions! So cool!!! After spending a long time at the Sea Jelly Spectacular, we took the Ocean Express down to the midlands. Visited the Amazing Asia Exhibit (we saw red pandas & a panda, all kinds of goldfishes) and took a rest at Whisper's Harbour.

Returned to Mongkok as mummy wanted to have Wanton mee noodles for dinner at 池记, Langham Place. Finally, I managed to buy some Sunbear & Shiseido lip balm for Wunly, had a hard time looking for them!! =S Shopped at TEmple Street, where I bought 2 bracelets, 3 pairs of ear studs & 3 pairs of dangling earrings. Explored more stores today & managed to buy more clothings for Yuki!!

9th Dec:
Had Dim Sum breakfast after a super long search for dim sum restaurant.. Headed back to hotel to check out. Papa, Wei wei and I walked to Yau Ma Tei station to get our Octopus Card refund deposit before joining mummy, Di Sheng & Uncle Michael. Booked our coach tickets, stoned abit while waiting for the coach departure time (1pm). Slept throughout the journey back to Shenzhen. Cabbed to Uncle David's aparment..

Since Uncle Michael's gout was acting up, the 5 of us cabbed to 东门 for lunch (扬州炒米粉) & shopping!! Bought a necklace (15RMB), shorts (35RMB), 2 belts (25RMB - BUT somehow they're lost!!), clothes for Oreo & Crystal.. Cabbed to meet Uncle David and Uncle Michael for dinner at King Harbour restaurant. Walked over to 御源宫 for our foot massage!

10th Dec:
Had breakfast at some shop behind Uncle David's apartment, cabbed to 世界之窗. Took lots of photos, it was more of a revisit of the last time I came here with Geri & Tricia.. And towards the end, I was grouchy coz no one could help me take the photo angle that I wanted.. Sigh. I really wish I could split myself into 2..

Washed our hair at Neo Salon, 我吹卷我的头发! hehe. But it took quite a while, so everyone went back to the apartment to get our luggage.. Met them outside Uncle David's unit, mummy thinks my hair was nicely done!! =)

Cabbed to the airport, BUT we alighted at the wrong terminal!! And there were no signs to direct us to that airport, we had to keep asking around.. Not to mention Uncle Michael's swollen toe & leg.. haha we had to push both him and the luggages if not we'd have missed our flight for sure! We reached the check in counter with a few minutes to spare!! However, they kept checking our luggages and even asked us to open 2 of them.. Even then, we weren't the last ones to take the shuttle bus to the plane.. Oh ya, my umbrella in my hand carry bag had to be checked too.. We had to leave Mummy's 龟苓膏 there too coz she hand-carried the items.. =S

Met 二姨丈 on the plane when he went to the toilet (we were seating at the last few rows while he in the business class). Singapore! YAY! Finally home Sweet home!! Waited for Uncle Michael's wheelchair to come (took about 15minutes? slow service..) Bought some beer & wine from the duty free shop..

Saw lots of Brown Eyed Girls fans outside.. Wow. I don't even know who the Brown Eyed Girls are. Too bad it wasn't some singer I knew! If not can take photo with them.. hehe. Tapau Popeye's Chicken from T1, we were in a hurry coz our mini-bus driver had arrived an hour ago!!

Yuki was soo happy to see us!! haha she must have missed us loads! =) We reached home around 11pm, bathed, took photos of the barang barang we bought..

5. You do mental calculations of the probability of rainfall, probability of being ESP, probability of getting diseases (rare or common)

6. It rains, you start visualing the hydrology cycle in action: precipitation, interception, stemflow, throughfall, infiltration, groundwater storage, percolation, throughflow, streamflow, stormflow, 'flashy hydrographs'...

7. Your family member catches a cold, you run through the possible causes in your head: viral infection, allergic rhinitis..

8. Followed by the possible drugs to administer: antihistamines or (shucks I can't rmb - quick! Go check notes!!)

9. You put on your earrings, you go: "ah ha! Delayed type IV hypersensitivity is going to occur! T cells mediated hypersensitivity to the Nickel allergen in the earrings!"

Monday: Slacked.. Under pretext of studying immuno.. Had Pharmaco tut for 1 hour in school.. Was so tired that I fell asleep before watching Lost!! =(

Tues: Spent the morning & afternoon searching for online episodes of Lost! I even went through registering for a MOBTV account to watch the free Lost catchup episodes! BUT my laptop had some trouble streaming the episdoes, so I went back to searching for Lost episode 11. Luckily I managed to!! Phew. But I was watching in trepidation coz the MageUpload keeps prompting me I've watched my "limit".

Lunch was Aunty's Nasi Lemak! Wunly finally came for japanese lesson!!

Wed: Pharmaco, Microbio and Water lecture (lasted only 1 hour!!) Medical microbio lecturer was a humourous guy, so it was a pretty interesting lecture~

Flipped through Microbio text!

Thurs: Flipped through more Microbio text.. But I doubt if anything stayed in my brain.. ACtually it felt more like an immuno revision coz I was reading the Medical microbio section & it was mostly about our immune system, T cells, B cells etc..

Friday: Went to the library to photocopy some Microbio text pages and returned the book! Heng, no library fine!! After Immuno lecture, I went to study in the library. Tricia joined my about 1 hour later.. Read Pharmaco text, photocopied some pages. Although I was late by 10 minutes in returning the RBR Pharmaco text, I incurred the $1 fine!! (the fine was $1 per hour!!) Tried the new Indo food at Science canteen for lunch. Then went back to reading pharmaco text..

Went for Stats lecture, then met Tricia after lecture ended.. Tricia's coming over my place to stayover!! =)

Had fried rice for dinner coz Tricia loves my aunty's fried rice! hehe. We ate while watching Jackie Chan's "Who Am I"! Hmmm I spent the night watching THe Amazing Race & Survivor, while Tricia used my laptop.. THen we slept around 1plus.

Sat: Woke up around 9am, had breakfast, watched a bit of Avatar.. Then started on Stats assignment 3.. Tricia's getting ready to go home as I'm typing this.. So shall blog again soon.. TOnight perhaps?!

The hidden skeletons of my family closet:

1. Mummy feels indebted to 二姨 coz 二姨 sacrificed her studies to look after her younger siblings, so mummy'll always help 二姨 whenever she can. Which naturally includes ferrying MIchelle & Jia Hao around. Accompanying Michelle to Thailand for her plastic surgeries even though papa, Di Sheng & I objected.

COnclusion is, I'm fighting a losing battle. Rather there's no battle at all. I can never ever win against Michelle. No wonder, I've been wondering all these years, why mummy always always dotes on Michelle, buys things for her, fetch her around.. And of course there's the everlasting memory of mummy telling me: "I'll leave my jewellery etc to Michelle in the future" when I was very young.

If Michelle and I were drowning in the sea, I wonder who mummy'll save. I bet it won't be me.

2. I finally found out why mummy dislikes ah ma. I heard from aunty that mummy told her that in the past, papa didn't allow my maternal grandmother from staying with/visiting us as papa thought lung cancer was contagious (he told Aunty he didn't know that cancer was not contagious at that time). So mummy's 'exacting her revenge' now, by making a fuss everytime ah ma comes over to stay. She complains whenever Aunty helps ah ma to cook lunch/dinner..

Yes. I know. My family's incredibly twisted.

Maybe it's genetic. Because I think I'm becoming warped too.

I'm forever bitter. Bitter about my life, family, friends, school and oh-I-can-think-of-a-million-and-one-things.

To top it all, I bet ppl who reads this will just think I'm over-thinking, over-reacting and exaggerating, since I definitely don't look that part of a bitter person. Hmmm. An Oscar nomination should be in place.

Mummy：不可以。一定要拿，早餐本来就是papa得买的。还有他给你的零用钱太少了。

Cheryl:那你以后载二姨，Michelle，Dexter etc， 也跟他们拿钱啦；他们自己必须自己还交通费的吗。

Mummy：Sorry hor. 我妈妈教我要帮兄弟姐妹的。所以我不会跟他们拿钱。So我是你妈妈，我叫papa给你钱，你就拿。

Cheryl:Ya，你是我妈妈，不是papa的妈妈，so不能叫他给我钱。你妈妈教你帮你的兄弟姐妹，你就帮。BUT你不是papa的妈妈，没能叫他给我钱。

Mummy:你们都一样的。只跟我拿钱，没有appreciate我。你们只看到papa。

Mummy：我没有。你们三个都是从我肚子出来的，不是你papa。所以你不会了解我的痛。以后你生孩子，你就会知道。

Mummy：你们papa应该做的更多。我拼命赚钱，很辛苦，你们都不appreciate.

Above is a very common exchange in our family. Although things may look to be calm on the surface, but the fact remains that our family is a very broken one.

Guess a bowl that's broken and glued toegther will still give way when used.

Anyway, today was a pretty slack day. Had breakfast at around 10, then went back to sleep (after I tried to read Immuno notes) haha. So I woke up around 2, had roti prata (that Uncle bought for me for breakfast) and porridge for lunch.

Brought Yuki down for a walk, bought some ice cream, let Yuki wander around outside the corridor to cool down before bathing her!! =) Yay! She's all nice-smelling now!! Washed Yuki's toilet pan, bathed, had green bean soup. Brushed Yuki's teeth.. Waa all these took about 2.5 hours!!

Tues: Left house early to buy Subway (suddenly had cravings for it) before attending Stats Lecture..

Wed: Pharmaco, Microbio, Water lectures.. Got back our Water report #2, got a B+ which sucks big time! But our graph got shown to everyone as a good example!! =) Watched some documentary on water conflicts around the world..

Thurs: Almost 6 hours of Immuno lab.. Damn tired but still need to mug for Microbio test!

Fri: Immuno lecture followed by last minute mugging in the library with Nabha.. Microbio CA turned out to be ... easy & tricky. Some questions were really dead giveaway like: An organism that thrives in acidic environment is a)halophile b)acidophile c)thermophile d)mesophile e)xenophile (something like that, can't rmb the exact options) BUT the point is, the answer is so super obvious!!! Hello!! We're not kindergarden kids okay! *rolls eyes* Then there were some qn that were really irritating: An efficient anaerobic waste system generates a)methane b)acetic acid c)heavy metals d)activated sludge - I know for sure that at the end of anaerobic waste system, heavy metals are accumulated BUT is it generated? I have no idea. Acetic acid is produced in the course of anaerobic digestion BUT is it considered as a product if the digestion is EFFICIENT? I don't know. It depends how the setter sees the question.. GRRRRR. I hate wordplay.

Went for Stats lecture after Microbio CA, then papa came to fetch me & I went to buy Subway again! This time I bought for Dexter & Dharyl too. Watched some of my accumulated recorded TV programmes after dinner. After mummy came back from work, had some supper, mummy & I headed to ah xian jie jie's place for mj!! haha I carried my own chair there coz I thought there wasn't any chairs with back rest..

Sat: Slept in! Woke up around 11.15am. Damn shiok! Haven't been getting much sleep these few days so it was a treat to sleep more than 6 hours!! Had Subway for branch, oh man. So pissed at the Subway crew guy, he forgot to add my honey mustard!! So my Subway tasted all wrong.. Gross.

Spent the afternoon watched more TV recordings. Mummy came to fetch us around 6 plus & it was pouring cats & dogs man!! It was such a heavy downpour!! haha macam nv rain for months (which is the case actually)! Went down to Queensway's Optometrist@work to adjust my spectacles coz Yuki banged into my spectacles while struggling in excitement to go ah gong's place..

情形是这样的。我买了Subway for 早餐，但没买Dharyl 的份， 因为我一向都没买给他的。多余的那份，我给了四姨。

在送我上大学的途中，papa 告诉我 mummy 跟他说如果我以后再不买早餐给Dharyl的话，mummy将扣我的零用钱。

纳闷。原来我是用钱收买的。原来 mummy 是可以把Dharyl的幸福建立在我的不愿/痛苦。哎！钱啊钱！老实说，我还挺想跟mummy 说，扣零用钱就扣，我不稀罕；但想了想，还是乖乖就范好了。对经济不独立的我而言，钱还蛮重要的！虽然我每个月的花费不多因为我不常逛街，但我需要付日文课的费用！

算了。委曲求全好了。

Thursday: Microbio report

Friday: Immuno Lect, worked on Water report in Library, Stats lect.

Sat: Mugged Micriobio and worked on Water report. Went to mummy's colleague, Aunty Jasmine's bday BBQ at East Meadows from 7+ till 10+, then went over to CHangi Airport for Popeye's Chicken & to pick Michelle (not me lah, mummy. I was just there for Popeye's). I drove us home BUT I forgot to put on the seat belt before driving off!! Oops. Too kan chiong.. Wei Wei stayed over..

Sun: Mugged Microbio & Water report. Breakfast was Popeye's CHicken's Mashed Potato! =) Mummy, papa & DI sheng went for mummy's colleague, Uncle Yusof's daughter's wedding lunch.. While Wei Wei & I had maggie mee for lunch! (^^) Dinner was quite an unpleasant affair, I thought mummy said that the Nasi Briyani she brought back from the wedding was nice, but it was not!! =S But I still ate it lah..

Mon: Ah ma came over!! =) Continued mugging for Microbio; my progress's really slow!! Sigh. It's really uber boring studying for Microbio!! =S cham. I'm not focused at all!

It really sucks when you're almost always being rejected whenever you ask for favours. That Audrey cheng ah! Forever turning down my mj jio-ings.. And she doesn't immediately say she can't make it. SHe always goes "I'll tell you later at night k?" which FOREVER equates to "Sorry. Cannot." (sometimes followed by "you come my house play on Sunday la". AND just count the number of times I made my way specially to SEng Kang to play mj with her & 大姑妈! Really damn irritating. Not to mention, the other time when I asked if she'd join me to watch Cloudy with a CHance of Meatballs, she gave a similar reply.

I guess the only ppl who'll listen to my whims are my dad & Di Sheng (occasionally mummy). No One Else.

There. Evidence that blood is thicker than Water. Else I just haven't met any 'water' that's willing to listen & give in to my whims..

Or it just plain means that I suck so much that no one bothers to do me favours.

I'm okay now! haha. Now that I've got it off my chest & he knows how I feel about the whole thing. Phew. It's nice to get things off my chest!! =)

Sat: Mugging. Drove car from TH back home. I still can't grasp the width of mummy's stream, keep veering to the left.. =S

Mon: Mugging. Went to school early in the morning at 8am for Stats; sooo sleepy!! THink I missed half the lecture snoozing. haha. Went to the library to mug water BUT I slept for 1hr20min (I set the alarm clock..) Tak boleh tahan lah! Super sleepy, slept only 5 hours.

Tues: Mugging. Decided to skip Japanese lesson. Panic mode!

Wed: Pharmaco CA!! 3 wrong and 2 blanks. Sigh. 87.5% (if I didn't mis-calculate). Crap. I could have done better. I changed one answer to the wrong one. And this paper's easier than the first CA, which means there'll be many others who'll score well. AHHHH!! My effort/sweat/dead brain cells!! All down the drain!! GRRRR. **plucks hair**

And what made my already depressed mode worse?! Me talking before our MCQ sheets were collected. WHY? Because Senthil asked me "Is JAK a serine-threonine kinase?" I replied "No. It's a tyrosine kinase" Senthil: "Ooh." WHO THEN PROCEEDS TO SHADING MY ANSWER on his MCQ sheet. I WAS STUNNED *mouth dropped open*. @)#*&!)*%^)!@(*#)!@%*^&@)*&!

The nerve!! How badly I wanted to start shooting my mouth off!! Before I could do anything, he nonchalantly asked if I had any questions I didn't know the answer to. I just went: "Sorry. I'm not going to say anything until the MCQ sheets are collected".

AHHHH!!! I can't believe he just cheated with my answer!! I'm aghast at him AND I'm soooo hating myself for answering his question!! Stupid me. Why did I feed him an answer?!!?!? I'm sooo totally going to listen to the examiners now: "No talking until the papers are collected" Yeah man. WIshed I had been a good girl.

Went down to clarify with the lecturer a question on Tyramine - inhibits NA reuptake. I chose false coz I thought it doesn't actually inhibit the Uptake 1 protein, it just reduces the reuptake of NA. BUT the lecturer said "Reduce means to inhibit, there's no such thing as complete inhibition" Harh. In his notes, it says "reduces" it didn't say "inhibits". FINE. My english sucks.

We had Histamine lecture after the CA (I didn't bring my notes coz I didn't know there was going to be a lecture), which provoked my already boiling blood. Sped off to MIcrobio lecture after Pharmaco ended. 1210 came, Prof Ho Bow still wasn't there. Ppl started leaving.. No lecture! Wah sian. I just stayed behind in the lt revising for Water CA. Eventually I was the only one left in the LT!! Since I wasn't in the mood to study; with my horrible Pharmaco results, giving away a mark to Senthil, attending Histamine lecture with my notes, I ended up 自拍-ing in the LT!! muahaha. Of coz for only a short while la! I still had to revise..

Water CA was equally bad, if not worse! There's this 7 mark question that I had no clue how to answer!! sigh. That's bad!! My answer's different from Tricia & Kai Lin!! So I'm pretty worried now!! Immediately after the test, we had project meeting!! Which I totally forgot about!! Until Tricia was standing together with Kai Lin & Alex! haha.

Reached home about 530pm, then headed down to Chinese Garden to take more photos of the Jurong Lake for our report.. Got distracted from my task by cute squirrels!!

Just chatted with Klarissa on MSN, she switched course to Warwick Econs! Quite a surprise! Part of her reason for switching is coz she wanted more from Uni life & she wanted to experience studying overseas.. Which I also would love to experience!! BUT alas. No money.

Okie! I shall read the latest chapter of Skip Beat! first before starting on Microbio report! ciao~
